Expecting the unexpected!
Excuse the pun, but even though we pray that pregnancy complications never happen, we should have a backup plan just in case.
Singlife Maternity Care is a single premium maternity insurance cover providing guaranteed benefits when expecting.
It benefits both mother and child should complications arise during the pregnancy.
Keep reading for our review.
My Review of Singlife Maternity Care
Singlife Maternity Care is a dedicated maternity insurance policy crafted to offer extensive protection for expectant mothers and their soon-to-be-born children over a span of 3 years.
This policy covers potential pregnancy complications, the unfortunate event of the insured mother’s death, and congenital illnesses in the newborn.
Moreover, it ensures protection for the child in scenarios like congenital diseases, giving parents the assurance they need regarding their child’s well-being.
Both you and your child are entitled to hospital care coverage under this plan.
This provision guarantees financial backing in situations of hospitalisation due to complications during childbirth or other health concerns.
Should your newborn need phototherapy for severe neonatal jaundice, this policy covers the associated costs, offering you financial ease during such times.
Upon the birth of your child, you have the option to acquire a new insurance policy for your newborn under this plan.
The procedure for this is streamlined, necessitating only a fundamental health declaration.
However, it’s worth noting that Singlife Maternity Care is unique in its offering.
When the expectant mother or her spouse opts for one of the selected basic plans, she can avail of the Singlife Maternity Care.
With so many things to like about the Singlife Maternity Care, there’s no wonder why we awarded it 3 categories in our list of the best maternity plans in Singapore.
It’s not only the cheapest plan, it provides the most value for every dollar you spend.
It’s also the best maternity plan for IVF and assisted pregnancies due to no premium loading – which other plans impose.
In conclusion, Singlife Maternity Care is an impressive offering in the maternity insurance space.
However, its suitability might vary from individual to individual.
As always, there are pros and cons to any insurance product, so It’s always advisable to discuss this with your better half and consult with a financial advisor before making any decisions.
